Proportion [GIFS]

Using the word proportion as a starting point, I've been trying to generate ideas that express this theme by using different materials and and various sources.

For this design, I restricted myself to only using circles and squares and a two colour combination. Using this formula, I have tried different ways of suggesting a change in proportion (shape and size) over a series of nine boxes.

I recently went out and took some photographs of places and objects that worked well within a frame. My plan is to sort through them (crop, adjust) and identify any themes that would be worth taking further. Here's a quick animation using shapes to reveal different shapes within the frame.

"I am the danger"

I decided to post Walter on to the social news website 'reddit', under a subreddit - 'breaking bad'. I managed to gain enough up-votes to maintain it as the highest post for some time. (He's on the way down now)

Subsequently, it has now had 26,000+ views from its original file on imgur!

Walter Blue

Here's the final design from my Walter White drawing I posted previously. The influence for the style came from the on-going theme of  Walt's 'crystal blue' featured in Breaking Bad.

Breaking Bad

After watching the finale of Breaking Bad Season 5,
I couldn't help but feel the urge to draw this fella. Stay Tuned...

Love Letter Animation

So I have finally got around to starting a blog, and what better way to start it off with some work!
There'll be more work to come in the next few days (fingers crossed). In the meantime, enjoy...
